Welcome to Luxury Day Trips LLC. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the booking of our private tours, luxury day trips, and travel experiences. By making a booking with Luxury Day Trips, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Us
Luxury Day Trips is a specialist travel company offering private luxury day trips and multi-day tours between Southern Spain and Morocco. We provide tailor-made travel experiences, including private transportation, ferry arrangements, licensed local guides, premium accommodations (where applicable), and carefully selected activities.
All services are subject to availability and confirmation at the time of booking.
2. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after:
- We receive the required deposit or full payment, as applicable.
- You receive written confirmation from our team via email or WhatsApp.
- The traveler has provided all required travel documents.
Luxury Day Trips reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking if the requested services cannot be confirmed.
3. Pricing
All prices are quoted in Euros (€) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may include:
- Private transportation
- Ferry tickets (when specified)
- Professional licensed guide
- Entrance fees (when specified)
- Meals (when specified)
- Luxury accommodation (for multi-day tours where included)
Unless specifically listed in your itinerary, prices do not include:
- Personal expenses
- Travel insurance
- Optional activities
- Tips and gratuities
- Alcoholic beverages
- Additional meals
- Visa fees (if applicable)
4. Deposits & Final Payment
To secure your booking, a deposit may be required.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- A deposit is payable at the time of booking.
- The remaining balance must be paid before the tour begins or on the day of the experience, as instructed in your confirmation.
Failure to make payment by the agreed deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation.
5. Cancellation by the Guest
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp.
Cancellation charges may apply depending on the services already reserved, including ferry tickets, accommodations, transportation, and third-party suppliers.
Where possible, Luxury Day Trips will seek to minimize cancellation costs and will inform you of any non-refundable expenses incurred on your behalf.
Certain components, such as ferry tickets, hotels, or special event reservations, may be non-refundable according to the supplier’s own policies.
6. Changes Requested by the Guest
If you wish to modify your itinerary after confirmation, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request.
Changes are subject to:
- Availability
- Supplier approval
- Additional costs where applicable
Significant itinerary changes may require a revised quotation.
7. Cancellation by Luxury Day Trips
In the unlikely event that we must cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, we will offer one of the following where possible:
- An alternative itinerary
- An alternative date
- A refund for services not provided
Luxury Day Trips is not responsible for additional expenses incurred outside of the booked services, including flights, hotels booked independently, or other travel arrangements.
8. Weather & Ferry Operations
Many of our experiences involve ferry crossings between Spain and Morocco.
Ferry schedules are operated by independent ferry companies and may be delayed, modified, or cancelled due to:
- Weather conditions
- Sea conditions
- Operational issues
- Port authority decisions
- Technical problems
Luxury Day Trips cannot guarantee ferry schedules and shall not be liable for delays beyond our reasonable control. We will assist guests in finding the best available alternatives whenever possible.
9. Travel Documents
Guests are solely responsible for ensuring they possess:
- A valid passport
- Any required visas
- Entry permits
- Health documentation where applicable
Luxury Day Trips is not responsible for denied boarding or refused entry resulting from incomplete or invalid travel documentation.
10. Arrival Times
Guests are responsible for arriving at the agreed meeting point on time.
Late arrivals may result in:
- Missed ferry departures
- Shortened itineraries
- Additional transportation costs
No refunds will be provided for services missed due to guest delays.
11. Health & Fitness
Some tours include walking through historic medinas, uneven streets, stairs, or natural sites.
Guests should inform us in advance of:
- Mobility limitations
- Medical conditions that may affect participation
- Dietary requirements
- Allergies
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requests whenever possible.
12. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Trip cancellation
- Medical expenses
- Personal belongings
- Emergency evacuation
- Ferry disruptions
- Flight delays
Travel insurance is not included unless expressly stated.
13. Liability
Luxury Day Trips acts as the organizer and coordinator of travel services provided directly or through carefully selected local suppliers.
While we exercise reasonable care in selecting our partners, we are not liable for losses, delays, injuries, or damages arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather
- Ferry disruptions
- Government actions
- Border delays
- Strikes
- Force majeure events
- Actions of third-party suppliers
Our liability shall, where permitted by applicable law, be limited to the amount paid for the affected travel services.
14. Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, drivers, local communities, and fellow travelers.
Luxury Day Trips reserves the right to terminate a tour without refund if a guest’s conduct:
- Endangers others
- Violates local laws
- Is abusive or discriminatory
- Causes significant disruption
Guests remain responsible for any costs resulting from their conduct.
15. Photography
During your tour, photographs or videos may occasionally be taken for promotional purposes.
We will only use identifiable images with your consent where required by applicable privacy laws. If you prefer not to appear in photographs, please inform your guide at the beginning of the tour.
16. Privacy
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is used solely for booking management, customer communication, and the delivery of travel services.
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
17. Intellectual Property
All content published on LuxuryDayTrips.com, including text, photographs, logos, graphics, itineraries, and branding, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
18. Force Majeure
Luxury Day Trips shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, terrorism, government restrictions, border closures, transportation interruptions, or similar extraordinary events.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws governing the contractual relationship between the parties. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts with jurisdiction under applicable law.
